Osogbo
— A middle age man, Adewale Adebayo, has been arraigned before a federal high
court Osogbo in Osun State by the National Agency for Foods and Drugs
Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for selling counterfeit drugs in Ile-Ife.
Counsel to NAFDAC Dr Benson Enikuomehin
told the court that the accused person displayed fake drugs for the purpose of
sale. The drugs include Ciprotab 500mg, Fansidar, Zinnat tablets, Auqmentine,
Amalar and Amplicox Syrup.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to
four count charge levelled against him but the court could not proceed on the

was supposed to give witness in the court is on maternity leave.
According to the charge sheet, Adebayo was
not duly registered by the appropriate authorities or licensed to display or
sell drugs.
The judge, Justice Babs Kuewumi, adjourned
the case till March 11.
“The realization of this had made my trust in
God total and has also propelled me to strive to obey Him in whatever I do” he
said.
Chief Ilori described Olawoyin as a very meticulous
and brilliant scholar.
The Lord Bishop of Ife, Rt. Rev. Oluwole Odubogun described
Olawoyin as a truthful and straightforward man.
