Woman, 32, Suffers Renal Failure, Needs Help

The life of a 32-year-old woman, Mrs. Oyetunbi Tinuade, currently hangs on the throes of death and she is said to be giving her family and relations sleepless nights over her health condition.

According to information made available to LEADERSHIP Friday, Tinuade was dignosed at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital of renal failure on May 12, 2014 and she is being treated at the same facility as a case of advanced chronic kidney disease stage 5, resulting from Type 1 Diabetes.


She is currrently on maintenance heamodialysis pending when definite treatment will start.

However, Tinuade, who hails from Ile-Ife in Osun State with her husband, a driver at Celtrac Company, have sold their property worth millions of naira on her treatment and also pays not less than N60,000 weekly on dialysis to keep her alive.

The couple got married in 2011 and the marriage has been blessed with a child, who, unfortunately, has not enjoyed maternal care as a result of his mother’s ill health for some months now.
