Knights FC cruised to New Era Football (NEF) Competition final

The Knights football club of Ile-Ife proved their dominance in Ife football once again by defeating NASFAT FC of Modakeke-Ife 3-2 at the ongoing NEF competition on penalty shootout. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time.
Speaking during the post match interview, the Knights FC coach,
Dele Dabiri, praised his team for their winning attitude and commended NASFAT FC for showing high level of professionalism during the match. However, the match would had gone the other way if not for the heroic saves of the Knights FC goaltender, Oladotun 'Macaroni' Awosode during the penalty shootout. He denied NASFAT FC 3 penalties to pave the way to the final,
Knights FC will play the winner between Olajesu FC, Modakeke-Ife and Neyo FC, Ile-Ife. The second semifinal match will come up on Tuesday February 23rd 2016 at Islamic Grammar school, Modakeke-Ife. Time is 4pm
